Sainte-Chapelle (doc. Yalta Production)
Édifiée par saint Louis pour abriter les reliques de la Passion.
Sur l'île de la Cité à Paris, visitez la Sainte-Chapelle, joyau du gothique rayonnant édifié par Saint Louis au coeur du Palais de la Cité pour abriter la Couronne d'Épines, un morceau de la Vraie Croix, ainsi que diverses autres reliques de la Passion qu'il avait acquises à partir de 1239.
La Saint-Chapelle est divisée en deux étages, la chapelle basse, richement ornée de peintures et de motifs médiévaux et la chapelle haute, réservée au roi et à sa cour, dont l'élévation des vitraux restent encore aujourd'hui enthousiasmant et en font probablement une des plus belles églises du monde chrétien.
